How to do geometric tranformations

One type of geometric transformation is translation. Tranlation is when an entire geometric figure is moved a specific amount of displacement. For example, when one vertex is moved to the right, the rest of the shape will also be moved to the right. Another form geometric transformation is rotation. Its definition is when a shape is rotated around any given point of rotation. For example you rotate two squares at the same angle but at different rotation points. The two squares will end up at different locations relative to their previous position. Below are screenshots of what I had to do on Khanacademy.

  1. Well, I am glad you understand what is going on here. It's quite beyond me. Did you have fun learning it?
