What is calibre?!

Calibre is the measurement of the diameter of the projectile used for specific guns. Calibre is usually the diameter of the projectile or the barrel in hundredths of an inch. For example, a bullet of .60 calibre, if a bullet like that exists, has a diameter of .60 of an inch.

The reason "Games" was one of the labels is because some games will tell you the calibre of the gun you are using, such as Counter Strike. According to the tutorial, guns with a higher calibre, which I am assuming is a larger diameter, can penetrate more materials.

Author: This article required lots of research because I had no idea what is calibre. I'm still not 100% sure what 7.62x51mm NATO is. I'm probably not the first person to play a first-person shooter without knowing what is calibre.
