Addition and Subtraction for Fractions
All I had to do was do the math only on the numerator. The answer could have been a proper fraction, or an improper fraction. The denominators on both fractions on each task were the same, so it was easy to solve.
Estimation and Subtraction
The task involves rounding a four digit number to the nearest hundredth. Once both numbers have been rounded, I had to find the difference of the two numbers.
Converting Fractions to Decimals and Vice Versa
The task was pretty simple. To convert fractions to decimals, divide the numerator by the denominator. To convert decimals to fractions, I will give an example.
0.05 to fraction.
3 digits in 0.05.
Denominator has three digits e.g 100
Numerator is 5
