How to solve a quadratic equation

Here's an example on how to solve a quadratic equation. First you need to know what number/s goes perfectly for the equation. There are to numbers in the equation. You need to make sure that your number adds up to the first number in the equation, and that it will make it to the second number of the equation if you multiply your numbers. In this equation, you are given only one space to put your answer because you need to square that number. once you know what number/s you need, you turn that positive number, into a negative number. And vice versa, turn a negative number into a positive number. On the website I did this on, I had to put the bigger number first.
