Super Blue Blood Moon?!

A super blue blood occurred approximately 10 hours ago. At first, it started as a super moon. Then, it became a blue moon while still remaining a super moon simultaneously. Finally, it became a blood moon.
A super moon is when the moon appears bigger because it gets closer due to the moon's oval-shaped orbit. A blue moon is when a full moon occurs twice a month or when the moon appears slightly blue. A blood moon is when the moon appears red due to a lunar eclipse, causing blue light to be filtered, similar to what causes sunsets to be slightly red.

  1. I actually checked your definitions. I had always thought a blue moon was simply the second full moon in a month. I did not realize it had a second definition. Thank you for this new learning. Did it actually appear bluish before it turned red last night?
