What is gaming?
Gaming is basically playing a game on a browser or a downloaded program. Though, games can also be used as methods for certain tasks, and vice versa. Other than just entertainment, gaming can also assist in education, allow people to earn money, be used in exercise (I'll explain later), and even can one day be used in military training (Or maybe it already is).
How can it be used in education?
Studies show that when children forced to learn something, they will not. Games can be used to help one learn a certain topic by making that knowledge essential to them in order to win their game. In normal situations, a child might not see a topic as essential information until it is. In another way, playing games can help one remember lessons such as history and morals, by making them live through it!
How can gaming help someone get paid?
There are multiple ways to earn money through playing games. One way is to record your gameplay, then post it on Youtube. If your content is liked and watched by a large number of people, they will subscribe to your channel to be notified when new content is released. When you have enough subscribers and they watch on your channel enough, Youtube will allow you to monetize your content, and Youtube will pay you for advertising.
Another way to earn money from gaming is buy playing games that give you rewards that you can sell online on websites or on your game client (such as Steam). For example, playing CS:GO can reward you will sprays and crates, that you can sell on the Steam Community Market.
Yet there is still another way to earn money from gaming. By making an account on Twitch, you can stream your content for people to watch. If you become a qualified streamer, you might be invited to join the Twitch Affiliate Program. Once you have joined, you can enable multiple features that allow you to earn. One feature is Bits to Cheer; viewers can purchase special emotes that they can use to cheer for you. Another feature is Subscriptions; your viewers can purchase subscriptions to your channel so they can have special perks such as new emotes, removal of ads, and more. You can also be paid by creating content for a game. For example, if you have enough time, you can make a very good game on Roblox that millions of people like and play. Roblox will pay you if you make an incredibly famous game (Like Jailbreak, which is one of the most popular game on Roblox).
