How do I get started?
When you download Roblox, apparently you will also automatically download Roblox Studio. That is the program to make your own games on Roblox. You can select one of the templates to help you get started with making your game or you make start with a plain surface.
How do I shape the terrain?
At the top bar of the window, there is a button called "Terrain". That allows you to shape the terrain in different ways. You can either place "blocks" of terrain using the "Add" tool or make the terrain slowly expand using the "Grow" tool. To remove parts of terrain, you can use the "Subtract" tool to remove "blocks" of terrain or use the "Erode" tool to... make it erode.
How do I add houses?
You can use the parts option to add a brick into your game. You can then use CTRL + D to make a duplicate of that brick right on top of it. You can repeat this process to make a small column.
You can then use the "Select" tool to select that column and keep making copies of that column until you have a wall. Then make duplicates of that wall and use the rotate tool to make the walls of your house. To make the roof, just make another brick, and make a bunch of duplicates to build the roof.
You can also use the "Add" tool and create the house by adding blocks. The blocks might automatically shape themselves based on the other blocks around them; it depends on which of the selected materials you use. To select the material, scroll down on the "Terrain" box until you see the materials to build with.
For an example on this method, examine the construction of the two buildings in this game

Of course, the simplest way is to go to your toolbox and simply just insert one of those assets into your game world. You can use the "Move" tool to translate that object through your 3D space and you the "Rotate" tool to rotate your objects into the desirable angle. This method can work for any object.
How do I add tools?
By once again going into your toolbox, you find the tools you are looking for and either add them into your starter pack (The player's inventory when you join or respawn). If you decide to not add them to your starter pack, it will be instead added as an object in the world; and will be collected by any players who walk on them.
Some objects in will give the players items when they touch them. Possibly, you will have to insert the object in your object explorer and insert it into the appropriate folder inside the giver object. For an example on how both of these work, check out this game that I also made:

(PS: If the doors are stuck, I will add the bazooka soon)
