Since Open2Study didn't really mention much, I will attempt to write down everything I can.
Open2Study says that when certain events occur, NPCs can communicate to other friendlies through messages in the form of either audio or direct messages (I'm assuming that means text). Other pieces of information can also affect how those other NPCs react to that message.
The lesson also teaches some of the methods on saves are made in-game. One of the methods is by the game taking a snapshot of your entire game. When you want to return to that save, the game will load the game based on the information in that snapshot.
Another method is by the game saving your progress as information on disc (On the computer itself). When the game is reloaded, it can access the information on disc and either cause all events that occurred to occur once again. Or in survival games, it will probably bring your character to a certain location or place you back where you were.
Of course, some games don't exactly have any collected data that gets saved. And the only information that actually gets saved is your previous location of when you last played. Not to mention, collected in-game currency that was collected during a "level" could have also been saved already transferred to your in-game account.
Since this was the most I can make out of the video I watched, I will now a guide to Mobile Legends. Why? Because I'm planning to play it after this article and I don't want to end up playing with terrible teammates.
In order to win, you need to destroy the enemy base. There are three lanes; top lane, mid lane, bottom lane. I really suggest your team has a tank, support, and marksman. The marksman (Or maybe Leila) is to destroy the enemy turrets without getting into their range. The tank is to help take a few hits in case you get into combat with other players. The support's main role in any game is to increase the survivability of your character.
I suggest using Leila since she can attack turrets without entering their range. I also suggest using Minotaur (I think that's his name?) since he is in the category of both tank AND support!
